Summary example of our work for this clientDesign, development and introduction of a Release Management methodology (introduced as part of a major organisational change programme in association with Accenture consulting). We have also been engaged in analysis of existing application support capabilities and teams leading to organizational re-design to provide a new, dedicated in-house IT support capability for all the Business, Customer and Network facing systems.
More detail about our work for this clientWe designed and implemented the Orange department which is responsible for delivery of all Network facing systems (i.e. those that assist the Planning, Design, Build and Management of the converged Telecoms and IT networks. This department has over 50 staff comprising business analysts, project managers, system developers and solution architects. Our role involved identifying and aligning existing dispersed resources into the new department and establishing a delivery structure with common goals and terms of reference. It also required that we identify all ‘in-scope’ systems, projects and initiatives in the company and impose meaningful structure and alignment on them while ensuring the correct prioritisation and resource assignments to ensure successful delivery.
