Live Connections has made significant contributions to this world leader in numerous consultancy assignments since 1992.

  •  Operations Support Systems:  Live Connections was instrumental in defining the Network Management strategy for Vodafone Group, working closely with the staff and management of the Operations department. We advised on and project managed the development of various component IT systems to deliver this strategy. We worked right through to manage the implementation of the resulting network management systems into Vodafone’s 24 Hour Network Operations Centres and Day Centres and the associated training of the users. As part of this we co-ordinated due diligence, trials and procurement of external systems including a £multi-million SS7 signal monitoring system.

  • General Projects: Our other work for Vodafone includes customer requirements capture from Service Providers to assist re-design of an ordering front-end to the Vodafone service provisioning system, operations planning, business analysis and training activities. In particular Live Connections developed, and has on more than 20 occasions delivered, a 2 day practical training course to train several hundred of Vodafone's development engineers on the Project/Quality Management System. This helped achieve TickIT compliance (BS5750).  Live Connections has also worked on systems and requirements analysis for Vodafone’s Radio Planning system and has run multiple design and facilitation workshops with users to assist this and other Vodafone system developments.
